They are designed to use straight out of the jar without thinning.
Matte Varnish: Putting on as thin a layer as possible strait from the jar will give the maximum matte affect as long as you have full coverage.
Using a temperature between 265 and 270 F. and leaving it in for 12-15 min. seams to work the best. We know that 15 min. at 270 works good and also have tried 12 min. with pretty good results. We encourage you to experiment with your oven to see what time and temperature works best for you.

They paint beautifully. A little went a long way. The thinning medium worked great. I loved using it. It was an easy transition and they worked beautifully. I love that these are very creamy. I would recommend these paints.
